Cluster Topology
Last Updated:2021-11-09
Overview
The cluster topology is a topological structure giving a visual display of the instance, which allows you to directly know the cluster information without having to switch the instance details multiple times. With the master instance as the core, it shows the relevant information of the read-only instance and proxy instance bound to the master instance. It also contains the following information, such as instance region, availability zone, subnet, and monitoring information.
Topological Structure
The RDS cluster has several possible instance combinations listed below, whose corresponding topological structure is described as follows:
Instance combination | Number of instances | Description of topological structure |
---|---|---|
Master instance | ≥1 | RDS high-availability cluster that consists of at least 1 instance of dual-computer high-availability version. |
Master instance and read-only instance | ≥1 | RDS high-availability cluster that consists of at least 1 master instance and read-only instance of dual-computer high-availability version. |
Master instance and proxy instance | ≥1 | RDS high-availability cluster that consists of at least 1 master instance and proxy instance of dual-computer high-availability version. |
Master instance, proxy instance, and read-only instance | ≥1 | RDS high-availability cluster that consists of at least 1 master instance, read-only instance, and proxy instance of dual-computer high-availability version. |
Check Cluster Topology
- Log in to the Console of Baidu AI Cloud Database RDS.
- In the RDS console, select a MySQL dual-computer high-availability master instance and click the instance name to enter the Instance Details.
- On the "Baidu AI Cloud Database RDS Instance" details page, click SmartDBA to show the module information.
- Click on the Cluster Topology to view relevant information.
