Resource Limit

Users can create up to 100 database instances.

• A request writes up to 10,000 data points.
• A data point includes up to 20 tags.
• A query includes up to 8 queries.
• A query returns up to 1 million data points.
• The maximum time series of a database instance is 1000W.

Name Limit

• Format requirements for database instance name: With a length of 6-40 characters. Only can contain lowercase letters and numbers.
• Format requirements for database instance description: With a length of maximum 256 characters. Any character is allowed.
• Format requirements for metrics: With a length of 1-40 characters. Only can contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and underlines; and must start with a letter.
• Format requirements for fields: With a length of 1-40 characters. Only can contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and underlines; and must start with a letter.
• Format requirements for tag-keys: With a length of 1-100 characters. Only can contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and underlines; and must start with a letter.
• Format requirements for tag-values: With a length of 1-200 characters. Any character is allowed.
• Format requirements for values of String type: With a length of maximum 256 characters. Any character is allowed.
• Format requirement for values of Bytes type: With a length of maximum 200 bytes.
